The Cromarty Firth Fishery Board is responsible for the management of the wild salmon and sea trout stocks of all the rivers running into the Cromarty Firth.The Board carries out a wide variety of fishery protection and fishery management activities on land, river and sea.
The Board works closely with the Cromarty Firth Fishery Trust which has a remit for the conservation of all native fish species within the region and the habitats which support them. See Trust page for recent projects

Whilst The Cromarty Firth Biosecurity Plan guides actions to protect the regions rivers against invasive non native species, parasites and disease.
